We currently seek a high caliber Electrical Technician / HVAC-R Technician  to work on a contract to possible direct hire basis. Based in Tucson, AZ, you will be working for one of the world’s leading engineering, procurement & construction companies in the manufacturing sector.
 
Job Description
Performs or assists with general maintenance, Preventive Maintenance and/or repair on Electrical Systems including Motors, Emergency Generators, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDU), Electrical Substations/Distribution/Circuit Breakers, Batteries, and Fuel Oil Systems.

Required Skills/Experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned.
• Assists in the performance of general maintenance (preventive maintenance and/or repair) on all “Electrical Systems".
• Performs general maintenance (Preventive Maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair) on “Electrical Systems".
• Assists with repair and maintenance of the following “Electrical" equipment: Power Distribution Units (PDU), Emergency Generators, Fuel Oil Systems, Batteries, Circuit Breakers, Substations, Motor Control Centers, Computer Room Air Conditioning Units, Lighting, and Control Circuits.
• Performs other general electrical and maintenance related duties as required.
• Performs work on energized and de-energized AC and DC electrical circuits up to and including 13,800 VAC.
• Work overtime (both scheduled and emergency), after-hours (early morning or late night), weekends and Holidays as required.
• Pager duty and associated responsibilities.
• Complies with all safety requirements and programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience
•• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three – six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
