Data Center Systems Engineer
Group Objective/purpose
The team is responsible for the design, engineering, implementation
and ongoing support of the firm's new Data Center Distributed
Fabric. This group will work closely with the other technology
verticals, automation, workflow and operation teams to ensure our

distributed fabric is selected.
Brief Description of role needed
The Data Center Engineer plays a vital role in the evaluation,
engineering, implementation and management of our next generation
distributed hosting environment leveraging virtualization, automation
and orchestration technologies. This position requires knowledge of
all aspects of data center hosting including server, storage and
networking. The ability to work closely with other technology
verticals as well as application developers to ensure a robust
scalable infrastructure is also required. The data center engineer
also supports the various system administration teams in the
migration of existing, siloed hosting environment to the service
oriented data center model. This position demands maintaining a
high-level of expertise within the aligned technologies that comprise
this infrastructure and will include all operational aspects
including new deployments, issue resolution and participation in on
call support until this is a environment is completely in production
and transitioned into our standard operation protocols.
Technical/Functional Qualifications needed
Candidate should possess 7+ years experience in an Enterprise Level
Distributed Data Center Environment with focus on one or more of the
following:

GENERAL SUMMARY
