Job Summary
This designer will sit on-site with a consumer packaged goods client as part of a Schawk team. This position will primarily support client brand design requirements for multiple business lines that will mainly focus on packaging, but may also include print collateral and seasonal advertising.
Responsibilities
Develop Creative.
Maintain workflow systems.
Provide strategic consultation.
Training and development.
Researching and developing existing and emerging concepts and trend.
Sketching into the computer.
Translate ideas from concept into actual, on-brand graphic packages.
Partner with Merchandising in order to get the best possible product delivered on time and on budget.
Maintain a constant knowledge of week-to-week sales and react through new designs.
Produce continuously strong packages at a quick rate.
Executes and may participate in the planning of graphic design assignments of varying scope and complexity based on specifications and/or concepts provided.
Assist in developing concepts or new design formats for packaging projects.
Review all pages to ensure that art and type work together.
With limited guidance, prioritizes and executes responsibilities efficiently possibly the work of others work results are of the highest quality standards.
Decisions have a moderate to advanced scope and impact operations of the department or department deadlines.
Makes recommendation to Management for improvements in reports, processes and assigned tasks.
May coordinate the work of employees performing similar duties may check work and provide feedback.
Regularly trains employees on skills/processes and occasionally assists them in resolving escalated situations and other problem solving.
