Summary
The Administrative Assistant in the Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) department provides administrative support to the Chair and faculty members of the OMM department.  The position reports to the Chair for OMM.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 


Assist with organization/implementation of curriculum, MSI-IV AZCOM students


Assist with student testing and labs


Prepare required paperwork/payment requests for residents/physicians assisting the department

Provide administrative support to the Chair and faculty members of the OMM department as necessary i.e. prepare general correspondence, maintain calendars, handle interoffice mail


Assist with additional projects and events as necessary

Alcoa, Inc. (www.alcoa.com) has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler at its Pimalco Operations in Chandler, AZ. Pimalco is a small press, hard alloy extrusions plant primarily focused on the Aerospace industry.

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler proactively ensures all planned maintenance work is properly coordinated, kitted and scheduled with respect to manpower, skill/trade, material, prints, procedures, cost, and safety requirements. The Planner/Scheduler facilitates a productive working relationship between the Storeroom, Operations and Maintenance.

Creates planned maintenance work schedule for the following week to include: outage schedule; list of planned work orders; and resource requirements.
Maintains CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) (MP2)
Maintains and manages Maintenance Work Order backlog.
Coordinates “major” Maintenance jobs that involve the coordination of contractors, multiple parties and/or unplanned outages that require more than 24 hours of work on critical pieces of equipment.
Completes kitting for all planned work orders which includes verifying parts, prints and procedures are all available when assigned.
Orders parts when needed and/or provides volume information and part lists to the storeroom. Requests quotes/bids and balances costs with quality.
Schedules external contractors when needed.
Plans manpower and prioritizes trade resources based on Production, Production Control, ABS and Maintenance input.
Facilitates a weekly prioritization meeting between competing stakeholders (Operations and Maintenance) and provides project updates.
Updates/maintains PM frequency and content using CMMS data and work order/Technician feedback.
Data analysis/mining: Analyze failure data, cost data, PM schedule adjustments, and generate reports.
Reports out on key Maintenance Metrics: %Planned work completed; % PM Compliance; % Breakdown Work; Backlog Hrs; etc.
Applies predictive, proactive and preventative measures to improve equipment reliability.
Maintains key documents and records as needed.

Set-up conference rooms including audio/visual equipment, furniture configuration, and food/beverages as needed. Assist with reception coverage, including managing multiple phone lines and visitor check-in. Coordinate workflow within the team, including prioritizing jobs and delegating duties to associates. Monitor work flow to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately and within deadlines. Assess incoming requests selecting the best equipment and resources for successful completion. Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information. Train new employees on policies and procedures. Communicate with manager and client on job or deadline issues.
